- Can I see what roles my team members have?
As a Coursetune admin, you may need to check the roles of your team members from time to time to make sure that they are appropriate. Checking a user's roles can also tell you where they might be missing permissions.
For example, perhaps a user needs to be a manager on a program (level 3) team, but they are only an editor. You can see this information all in one place to be able to determine the changes (if any) that need to be made to their roles/permissions.
Note: If you are a normal user and want to see all your roles, please check to Related Articles section at the bottom of this article.
Step 1- To find the User Roles panel, you need to go to the Users panel. To get there, click on the three lines next to your name in the upper right (often known as the Hamburger button), and select Users from the drop down menu.
Step 2- In the Users panel, find the desired user and click on the three dots (ellipsis) on the far right of the user. Now select Assign or View Roles from the drop down menu.
Now you will see all the roles for the selected user. In this modal, you can also change the role of a user in a course (level-4 object) or program (level-3 folder) where the user is already a team member (use the role drop down menu(s)).
You can navigate to the levels where the user has roles by clicking on the bold text directly in this panel.
