How do I see assignments on my course?

Who can do this? All users who have access to the level-4 object

To view activities, you must be on the bundle layer of a level-4 object.

(1) Navigate to the desired level-4 object, make sure you're on the bundle layer, and turn on "Edit" mode

(2) Select the "Activities" icon in the right panel

(3) If there are many assessments and learning activities to view, you'll have the option to "View All Activities" and will see all the rings that represent the assessments and learning activities in the course. Each color/radius represents a different type of activity. The green rings are learning activities, and the brown rings are assessments.

(4) Click on individual activity arcs

(5) You can see the description of the activity in the "Descriptions" panel

(6) The individual activity will also be highlighted in the right panel

(7) You can also choose to view all of a particular type of assessment or learning activity. For example, we can "View all Exams"

(8) Select an individual exam by clicking on the arc to select it, and read the Descriptions. When an activity is selected, the arc will become navy blue (Exam 1)

(9) If there are asset links attached to the activity, it will display in Descriptions

If you have set the default of an activity type to "Choose Individually" (through the "Activities Settings" panel), you will see either (Assessment) or (Learning) next to that activity type in the right panel.

Note: You will only see (Assessment) and (Learning) by the activities if you have a type that has both created. In the example below, you can see that "Assignments" contain both.

You can also view a single property across all activities within a level-4 object to check for coverage/alignment. For example, select the property, "Engagement" to expand the options. From the list of options, you'll see "Interaction with Expert" which is specifically to help you provide evidence of regular and substantive interaction in online, blended, and CBE models.
