As you get deeper into Coursetune, you might need to examine or change the roles of a team member. Coursetune managers and admins can determine which roles and permissions are appropriate for which users. Perhaps a program editor needs to be upgraded to a program manager.
There could come a time when you see a need to change multiple users' roles at once. Perhaps you have a bunch of viewers on the course (level-4 object) that need to have commenting permissions. Coursetune makes it easy to change user roles through using Access mode. In the Access panel, you can manage who is on the team, what their roles and permissions are, and add new members.

What are the Checkmarks in the Access Panel?
If a user is inheriting their role from a higher level, then you will not be able to reduce the role at this level, only upgrade it.
The first column of check marks is to let you know if rights are being inherited at this level.
- No check mark = the user has been assigned rights at this level
- Solid check mark = the user is inheriting rights from a level above this
- Outlined check mark = the user is an admin, but is also assigned an actual role on a level above this one

As an Admin, you can also assign multiple users the same role, such as an Editor, all at once using the Batch Assign feature. For more information on that, read this article: How can I add new users to Coursetune?
