Your data in Coursetune can be displayed in three different views:
Circle View |
The unique Circle View is where you can see the 10,000 foot view of your course (level-4 object), program (level-3 folder), or division (level-2 folder). In the circular view, it's easy to see gaps, activity and assessment alignment, the emphasis of the course objectives, mappings to Level-3 outcomes, interleaving of concepts, and more. In circle view, users can view, comment, edit, and manage a course. In circle view, users can also view and create new programs and divisions, and edit the properties of these division and program folders. |
Linear View |
Linear View is a great way to view large collections. In Linear View, you may navigate in the left panel between the division (level 2), program (level 3) and course (level 4) levels. You may also navigate to a program or course by selecting them directly from the Linear View panel. Sort division, program, and courses alphanumerically by many options using the up-and-down chevrons in the header row of each layout. Note: In the course, the grayed-out chevron indicates when there are no LOs sitting under the bundle or C-layer. While on the program level, you will see if a course is a source course or proxy course and if a course has variations turned on. The number of course variations will be indicated. In a program containing 50 or more courses, the default view will be Linear View to help with faster loading times. You can switch to Circle Graph View any time at the program level. |
Grid View |
Grid View displays the data like a chart with columns and rows. You can also edit from this view. With the Mapping Grid Editor, you can easily see an overview of all correlative mapping, as well as do the actual mapping of complex curriculum. You can arrange the editor by either bundles or the c-layer organization. Open and close outcomes (showing sub-outcomes), bundles, and c-layers to make your mapping easier. You will see two different visualizations, depending on if you are using mapping checkmarks, or if you have Outcome Scales turned on. |
