Courses at your institution may have more than one person with editing permission. As an editor, manager or admin, you may want to check the editing history of a course. You may also need to provide evidence of continuous improvement on a course over time. This feature is an essential part of that documentation. The Course Pulse will save each past edit on a course, and who performed those edits. Easily filter by the type of changes you are looking for (activities, mappings, etc.), by the user who made the changes, or by the dates the changes were made.
Pair this feature with Tuning, and Task List to support an organized and collaborative continuous improvement process directly in Coursetune.
Step 1: To check the history of a course, begin by navigating to your Course (Level 4), and click on the Course Pulse icon in the right panel.
Step 2: In the Pulse panel, click on the desired date to see the edits made. If you want, you can click on Expand All to see all the editing details at once.
You can use the User filter (which defaults to All Users) to select specific team members to see their edits.
Similarly, you can use the Changes filter to see specific elements such as bundles, C-layers and learning objectives.
Note: This feature was activated in the v2.0 release, so you will not be able to see the pulse for a date prior to this December 2020 release.
