- Institutions/Organizations (Level-1 folders)
- Divisions (Level-2 folders)
- Programs (Level-3 folders)
- Courses (Level-4 objects) (proxies and variations)
- C-layer elements (CLOs, Competencies, etc.)
- Bundle elements (Weeks, Modules, etc.)
- Learning Objectives (LOs)
- LO Details
Step 1: Need to find something in a hurry? You can search at any of the four levels. First, you need to click the magnifying glass icon in the top bar, or use the keyboard commands Ctrl-Shift-F (PC) or Cmd-Shift-F (Mac). This opens the universal search panel, where you can type in the name or ID of the element you'd like to find. Narrow down the search by checking the box(s) next to the elements in the left list.
Note: You must be at least a commenter to search for comments or suggestions.
Step 2: Press enter or click the Search button to bring up existing search elements. Click on a search result to see more information. You can select Expand All to see details for all of the of the search results. Once your search results appear, click the arrow on the right side of the element to take you to the location of the search result.
Depending upon the view level, you are given the option to search inside one course, an entire program, an entire division or the entire institution. Search results are also determined by the roles that you have on each level.
If there are less than 100 search results, these will be shown. If there are more than 100 search results, it may take some time for the expanded results to populate. In this case, you will be presented with a notification that gives you the ability to cancel the search (so that you can narrow it down if you don't want to wait).
Source courses and proxies will show their icons in the search results:
A variation will show it's icon in the results:
Using the filter at each level:
You can use the filter located in the top bar to narrow down the items on different levels of Coursetune (divisions (level-2 folders), programs (level-3 folders), and courses (level-4 objects). This is particularly helpful when on a level containing many elements, such as courses.
Using the course drop-down menu in the top bar:
On a course (level-4 object), you can use the drop-down menu to switch between courses inside the program (level-3 folder).
