Often outcome sets are used to collect a desired set of skills that learners should gain while while completing a course, program, or degree/certificate. But there are many other uses: industry standards, accreditation requirements, skills gaps, certification, badges, institutional goals, program-level (school or department) goals, track equipment use or other resources, track and monitor project workflows.
As an Editor or Manager, you might need to export an outcome set to move to another program or division (level 2 folder). Coursetune makes that easy.
Please note that only three designated users and admins can edit or export institution (level-1) outcome sets (L1OS).
Step 1: Start by navigating to the desired level (we are using program level in this example), and turn on Edit mode.
Step 2: Click on the desired outcome set, and then click on the edit pencil.
Step 3: In the Batch Editor, you can choose the file format you would like to export. Make sure you save it to your device. We suggest a .json or .yml.
Note: The Export Canvas exports a file that you can add as an outcome set in Canvas, and Export Moodle is used when you want to create competency frameworks in Moodle.
You now have an exported file that you can use to import into a different location in Coursetune.
