How is the Coursetune interface organized?

There are two schemas we use to organize curriculum in Coursetune:

• Structural Levels (left-hand panel): Institution/Organization (Level 1), Division (Level 2), Program (Level 3), and Course (Level 4)
• Design Layers: C-layer and Bundle Layer (these are sometimes called the two sides of the course (level-4 object))

In addition, there are action modes visible to different team roles at different levels:

• Modes: View, Tune, Edit, Access

When you mouse-over the icons in the left menu, you can see what the specific level is named in this taxonomy.

The icons at the top of the Coursetune interface also have functionality (the screenshot below is at the program level):

In the right side panel, you will see:

1. Mappings panel
2. Task List
3. Activities
4. Reports and Data
5. Variations
6. Archives
7. Pulse
8. Access panel
9. Tuning

Please note that the use of the Task List, editing Activities, Variations, Archives, Access, and Tuning will always be dependent upon your role permissions.

Descriptions will always be displayed at the bottom of the right side panel.
