There are a few ways that you can do this:

This article will cover how to create a course (level-4 object) manually.

Before you can add a course, there must be a program (level-3 folder) to place the course into. If you have not created a program yet, see the article: How do I add a program (level-3 folder)?

Step 1: First, you need to make sure you are in the destination program (level-3 folder), and then turn on Edit mode. Click on the plus sign+ 

Step 2: In Add course (level-4 object) panel, you can:

• Add the name (required)
• Add description 
• Add ID 
• Add credits 
• Alphabetize the LOs on the c-layer 
• Show repeated LOs 
• Show bundle labels on the graph 
• Add LO scale(s)
• Change bundle type
• Import, share, move or copy a course

Click the Add button when you're finished.

It is customary to use the ID field for the institution's letter/number combination for the course, e.g. Math 141 or ENG 2100. If there are multiple department listings of the course, you might want to list them all (e.g. "Math 141; BUS 210; ENG 122").

Note: If there are multiple IDs for a course, you might want to check out the feature "Shared Courses (Level-4 Objects)" as a way to efficiently include the same course in multiple programs.
