The activities and assessments in a course answer "How will students learn?" This tutorial shows you how to add an activity to a course.

Step 1: Add activity
To add an Activity, check that you are on Level 4, the course level.
Click the Module button to view the Bundle Layer.
The Bundle Layer icon has the bundle of books and is named Module here, but can be customized.
You will ONLY use the Bundle Layer for adding activities and assessments.
Click the Edit Mode button to enable edit mode.
Each user's permissions will determine which modes they may use. Check your permissions if you are unable to complete an action.
Click the Activities button in the top right panel to open the Activity Panel.
The icon is a head with a gear representing the learning in action that happens with activities and assessments.
Click the Plus Sign to start adding a new activity or assessment.
This example will show you how to add an activity to a Learning Objective in Module 10.
CourseTune has a variety of pre-sets for different activity and assessment types.
Click on the Learning Objective that will be covered in the activity.
You can select multiple Learning Objectives or Bundles across the Course Graph. Read this if you have no Learning Objectives.
Click Next to advance to Step 2.
Step 2: Add details
Click Choose Activity Type to select the Activity or Assessment type from the list.

Enter the Name of the activity.
Add the Description of the activity. This information appears on Reports and in the Activity Panel.
Enter an optional Activity ID. This might be used by some LMS integrations.
Click Add Assets to open the menu and add web-based resources.
Click the Plus Sign to add the link to a new asset.
You can add multiple web-based assets to each activity.
Enter the Name of the Asset. Enter the full U.R.L . including http:// Enter an optional Asset I.D., which may be used by an LMS
Click Close to Save and continue.
Click Next to advance to Step 3.
Step 3: Add properties
Click Choose Modality to select from the list.
Click Choose Engagement to select from the list.
Click Choose Grading to select from the list.
Enter Planned student time for the activity.Enter points the activity counts for.
If you'd like to reuse these settings for a repeated activity type, check the box Use as default.
Click Save to complete adding a new activity to the Learning Objective.
View new activities
When you are viewing the Activity Panel, the Discussions Activity Type is expanded. For example, in this screenshot you can see it expanded to show the newly added Group Discussion on Health activity.
Look at the Description of Activity Panel on the bottom right. It shows the activity details you entered.
Click View All Activities to see all items that have been created for the course.
Learning Activities are green and Assessments are gold. This view gives you the opportunity to answer "How will students learn?"
