Coursetune has four structural levels which show in the left-hand panel. From top to bottom, these are Institution (Level 1), Division (Level 2), Program (Level 3), and Course (Level 4).
The names of the levels are customizable, so you can change the default names of Institution, Division, Program, and Course to anything you'd like. A good example would be using "College" or "School" for your division name.
Institution (Level 1)
The Institution (Level-1 Folder) displays all the Divisions (Level-2 Folders). Here you can do the following (if you have the correct role permissions):
- View Divisions (Level-2 Folders)
- View Institution (Level-1) outcome sets in the right-hand panel in Mappings
- Edit Division names and settings
- Create or edit Institution outcome sets
- Import an outcome set for the Institution
- Export an outcome set
- See who has access to the Institution
Division (Level 2)
The Division (Level-2 folder) displays all the Programs (Level-3 folders). Here you can do the following (if you have the correct role permissions):
- View programs
- Edit programs names and settings
- Import a programs
- Generate division reports
- View all of the Institution (level-1) and division outcome sets in the right-hand panel
- Create or edit division outcome sets
- Import an outcome set for the division
- Export an outcome set
- See who has access to the division
Program (Level 3)
The Program (Level 3) displays all the courses (level-4 objects). Here you can do the following (if you have the correct role permissions):
- View, add, copy, share, move, and edit courses
- Import individual courses
- Export the program
- Generate program reports
- Import a program level outcome set
- Export an outcome set
- View, create, or edit program outcome sets
- Map course c-layer elements or bundles to available outcome sets
- Use Tuning mode
- See who has access to the program
Course (Level 4)
The Course level (Level 4) displays a single course. Here you can do the following (if you have the correct role permissions):
- View, create, or edit basic course information
- View, add, and edit the c-layer elements and bundles
- View, create, edit, and designate scales for Learning Objectives (LOs)
- View, create, and edit LO Details
- View the LO Scale on the circle graph layout
- Export a course
- Generate course reports
- Import an outcome set to the course
- Export an outcome set
- View, create, or edit course outcome sets
- Map course object c-layer elements, bundles, or learning objectives to available outcome sets
- From the bundle layer, you can view, create, and edit activities
- Use Tuning mode: Create or discuss suggestions, change the status of a suggestion
- Utilize the task list
- View Course Pulse
- Create an archive
- Create a course variation
- See who has access to the course
