Coursetune uses four action modes: Viewing, Editing, Tuning, and Access (located on the right side of the screen). You may not see all four icons, if you have low role permission on a course (level-4 object) or program (level-3 folder).

The first icon is the "Viewing" icon. In Viewing mode, you can view Institutions/Organizations (level-1 folders), Divisions (level-2 folders), Programs (level-3 folders), and Course (level-4 objects) that you have viewing rights on. |

The second icon is the "Editing" icon. To add new design elements or make changes to existing design elements, you must be in Edit mode. |

The third icon is the "Tuning" icon. In the Tuning mode, you can view and leave suggestions, and utilize the task list from the course (level-4 object). |

The fourth icon is the "Access" icon. From this mode, you can view who has access to any level. If you have manager rights, you can grant access to users and change their roles. |
