Glossary: Batch Mapping Editor

The Batch Mapping Editor allows you to edit an outcome set with its outcomes all at once. Using the batch editor, you can:

• Edit the outcome set ID, name and description
• Edit outcome IDs, names and descriptions
• Delete outcomes or the outcome set
• Add outcomes
• Edit suboutcome ID, names and descriptions
• Add suboutcomes
• Change the order of outcomes manually
• Sort outcomes alphabetically
• Sort outcomes by ID
• Convert the entire mapping set to be an outcome containing sub-outcomes
• Upgrade the outcome set to a higher level. For example, upgrade a course outcome set (L4OS) to a program outcome set (L3OS).
• Export the outcome sets as a .xslx, .json or .yml to import in a different course or program; or to downgrade from L1OS to a L2OS, or a L2OS to L3OS, or a L3OS to a L4OS. 
• Export as a Moodle Competency Framework to upload into your Moodle account
• Export as a Canvas Outcome Set to upload into your Canvas Account
