Ready to see your "bigger picture" alignment to outcomes at Level-3? First, you have to map those outcomes to each course element within the Level-3 collection of outcomes. You can do this mapping at either Level-4 and Level-3. This article covers how to map at Level-3, which allows you to view and map onto your entire course collection in one place.
Who can do this? Editors and managers with rights to the level-3 folder and admins.

Step 1: Ready to map? First, you need to be at the program level (level 3), turn on Edit mode, and click on the outcome set you want to map. The mapping icon will appear next to the selected outcome set.
Tip: To zoom in and out of the program (level-3 folder), hold down Ctrl (PC) or Cmd (Mac), and then use the up and down keys.
Step 2: Clicking on the mapping icon turns the background gray. This indicates you are in mapping mode.
Please note that if your permissions don't allow for mapping, the map icon won't show. Read this article for more information: Who can create, edit and map outcome sets?
Open an outcome set and select the desired outcome or sub-outcome to map.
If the outcome contains sub-outcomes, you can click the chevron next to the outcome to see the sub-outcomes.
If you want to map the entire outcome (including all sub-outcomes inside) you can click the checkmark next to the outcome.

Step 3: Now you can click on the c-layer or bundles elements across the program (level 3) to map to the selected outcome/sub-outcome. *LOs can be mapped at the course level (level 4).
Tip: To zoom in to a particular course from the program, click on the plus sign + icon on the course's center. To zoom back out to program level from an individual course, click on the minus sign - icon on the course's center.
To exit the mapping mode, click on the mapping icon again. You can keep the visualization of the mapping on as you navigate around the course and program. To turn it off, click the Mapping Off icon in the right panel, in front of the plus sign + icon.
