What is being taught and when? Summarize the course architecture in a syllabus report. This report organizes what’s being taught through the learning objectives and what's being assessed, all organized by the delivery layer, or Bundles. Use this report to communicate to learners clear expectations of what learning objectives will be taught, and when they will be assessed. This report is commonly used as syllabus documentation.

Used by: Faculty, adjuncts, program chairs, curriculum committee, students and parents, and it can answer questions such as:

Which report is most like a syllabus?
What report can I share with students to inform them of course learning objectives and activities?

Step 1: Ready to create your report? First, you need to start at the course level. Next, click on Data and Reports in the right panel, and select Syllabus Report.

Step 2: When choosing to how much detail to include in the report, you can choose to:

List the LOs in each bundle
Include LO details and/or LO IDs
List your c-layers (course goals, competencies, etc) at the bottom of the report.
Include Activity Descriptions
Include rubric information
Check Time Estimates to choose to format the time by decimal or hours: minutes.
Include activity points
Categorize the activities and assessments by type
Sort activity names by order of appearance in the bundle, or alphanumerically.

NOTE: Some activities span multiple bundles, and when that is the case, we’ve chosen to list the activity in the last bundle where it appears. For example, if the Midterm covers learning objectives in Week 1, 2, 3, and 4, we place the Midterm in Week 4.
