-
Used by: program chairs, and curriculum committees, and can answer questions such as:
- How can I see a summary of alignment between C-layer and Bundles (Course Goals to Modules and vice versa)?
- How can I see how often we’re covering all of the course goals and when?
Step 1: Ready to create your report? First, you need to start at the course level. Next, click on Data and Reports in the right panel, and select Bundle to C-layer Report
Note: These elements could be named differently depending on what you and your organization call them. For example, Bundles could be Units, Weeks, Sessions, etc. C-layers could be Competency, Course Goal, Course Learning Outcomes, etc.
Step 2: In the Bundle to C-layer Report panel, there are two different visualizations you can choose from:
- Checkmark correlation
- Depth of Coverage correlation
You also have the option to remove duplicate LOs in this report. Duplicate LOs in courses are sometimes necessary to show a particular design. But you may not want to see them on your reports or include them in the report calculations.
It is important to note that if you don't have any duplicate LOs on the course (level-4 object), the option will not show. Also, if your duplicate LOs are in the Orphaned LO Category on the bundle side of the course, the option won't show either.
If the Variations feature is turned on, you will be able to choose the variation you would like to use when generating this report. Choose the variation from the drop-down menu that appears in the Bundle to C-layer Report panel,.
