- What information imports into Moodle from an Outcome set in Coursetune?
When a Coursetune outcome set is imported in a Moodle Competency Framework, it is organized much like how Coursetune organizes the outcomes and suboutcomes in the right panel.
The hierarchy is as follows:
Outcome Set > Outcome > Suboutcome
If you select one of these elements in Moodle, the descriptions and ID will show in the panel next to them.
The Moodle export (csv) from Coursetune will fill the first four columns of data with:
Column header in exported spreadsheet | Comes from this in Coursetune |
Parent ID number | ID number of the Outcome Set or Outcome "parent" |
ID number | ID number of the Outcome or Suboutcome |
Short name | Title from either Outcome, Outcome, or Suboutcome |
Description | Description of the Outcome or Suboutcome |
Please note that IDs for the Outcome Set, Outcomes, and Suboutcomes are required to create the Moodle export file in Coursetune. This is because Moodle requires unique IDs on all these elements. You must have unique IDs in all the relevant fields in Coursetune and they cannot be used anywhere else in Moodle for the upload to work.
