What's the difference between user types and roles?

There are two user types in Coursetune: users and admins

The reason there are user types is simply to separate admins from regular users.

Both users and admins can also be assigned roles in courses (level-4 objects), programs (level-3 folders), and at the organization/institution level (level 1).

Admins have the power to do everything in Coursetune, but we want admins to also be team members on courses and programs so that they receive communications from the team and are listed as a visible member. It is up to the admin to pay attention to their designated role on a team, and respect it.
